Outreach

We are a church dedicated to reaching beyond the four walls of our building and meeting the needs of our community and beyond. We are driven by the Great Commission and the need to "go into all the world and make disciples." While we have many opportunities each week to serve, the events below are our most recurring and long-term opportunities.

New York Mission Trip

DWC has a sister church in Brooklyn, NY - New Hope Family Worship Center. Each year our team travels to New Hope to serve in their community and participate in their local ministries. Trips are available in the Fall and Summer months.

Basecamp (Summer 2024)

Dates: August 1 - 4

Base Camp is a free local mission experience for rising 4th - 6th grade students. Students will stay overnight at DWC and participate in local missions during the day. This is an opportunity for students to worship and grow in service together and learn about their place in the Kingdom.

Community meal

The third Thursday of the month DWC hosts the "Community Meal." Sign up sheets to bring food items, set up, and tear down from meals are available in the lobby of the church every month.
